Explanations

  • Mailboxes for employees are only created as »Shared Mailboxes«.
  • »Shared Mailboxes« do not have a password and are automatically visible in Outlook as an additional mailbox for members.
    The prerequisite is the use of Exchange.
  • »Shared Mailboxes« can be used to send emails with the email address requested here as the sender.
    These emails can also be signed with a group certificate.
  • The applicant (from the requesting area) is granted administrator rights and can add or remove additional members. These can be edited as an additional mailbox via OWA.

General information

  • The applicant must be an employee of the Bauhaus University Weimar or the Liszt School of Music.
  • Mailboxes are provided for a limited period of time. The maximum duration (life cycle) per application is therefore three years from the date of installation.
  • Renewals must be applied for independently before the expiry date by submitting a follow-up application using this form.
  • The applicant is fully responsible for the use and transfer of the permissions and resources applied for.
  • The applicant will be notified by email once the application has been processed.
  • Upon termination of employment, the responsible person transfers responsibility to a subsequent responsible person who informs the SCC by submitting a follow-up application using this form.
