In consultation with the university directorate, the SCC provides a few authorised users with the option of sending mails to groups of people. The distribution lists with the mail addresses are generated by a script from Identity Management. The mail addresses remain in the SCC and are therefore not made available to the senders.
Authorised users to send newsletters
These include:
- The Presidium incl. President's Office or the Vice-President's Office and the Chancellor's Office
- The elected members of StuKo
- The elected members of the dean's offices (dean, vice dean, dean of studies) and the heads of administration for mailing to their respective faculty
- Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism
- Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering
- Faculty of Art and Design
- Faculty of Media - Analogous regulations apply to the HfM.

If you are authorised and would like to send a newsletter, please send an e-mail request to nutzerservice[at]uni-weimar.de
Your request must contain:
- Sender
- Recipients (e.g. BUW members, BUW employees, students)
- Reason for sending
