University Communications at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar developes and coordinates the university's marketing activities. For this reason, the presentation of the university is very important to us. We inform media representatives about current events, achievements and developments in teaching and research at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and act as an intermediary between journalists and university experts. We also publish materials concerning the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and structure and edit the university's website.
University Communications is also responsible for the corporate design of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and all issues related to the consistent appearance e.g. use of our logo and typeface. We also create presentations, advertisements and brochures for the university, for instance Bauhaus.Journal and Bauhaus.Journal online. We also organise University’s events and support to our topics to all university members.
Our marketing activities include the offer of university merchandise. We also organise the Bauhaus Walk, a project initiated and managed by our students. The tour takes visitors to the original sites of the State Bauhaus in Weimar and presents the eventful history of the university and the buildings that housed the famous design school over 100 years ago.
