When importing the root CA certificate, make sure that the fingerprint of the root CA certificate is correct.
In the new window that appears in the browser, you must state that you trust the new certification authority.
e.g. for Mozilla Firefox, tick the checkbox:
- Trust this CA to identify websites.
- Trust this CA to identify e-mails.
- Trust this CA to identify software developers.
Notice: The fingerprints are used to match the loaded certificate with the information provided by the issuer. Depending on who you want to trust to check these fingerprints, rely on the information above, check the exhibitor's homepage or contact the exhibitor directly and ask for the fingerprint.
