Classroom work will look at how we communicate orally in the sciences, focusing on scientific discussion and presentations. Much of the theoretical work regarding proper presentations will be done via the moodle platform where students will learn how to create PowerPoint slides and organize their presentations. During the classroom instruction, students will engage with one another in scientific discussions related to technical listening and reading assignments to offer students a well-developed skills set.
Exam and Grades: Final grades will be based on the final presentations and a comprehensive final exam.
