Call for Participation - (Re)Cognizing an Omitted Legacy. Digital Heritage for Industrial Heritage in Alexandria, Egypt
We invite you to participate in the COSIMENA Winter School 2025 in Egypt! This year’stheme focuses on exploring Alexandria’s overlooked industrial heritage. The program offersintensive training in digital heritage methodologies (photogrammetry, 3D modelling, GIS)alongside guided site visits to key industrial landmarks in Alexandria. Participants will engagewith international experts from Germany, the MENA region, and Egypt to exchangeknowledge, develop new skills, and contribute to collaborative heritage documentationprojects. The Winter School aims to foster regional and international dialogue on industrialheritage, encourage interdisciplinary approaches, and promote the conservation ofAlexandria’s unique industrial past.
