Jinia Sharmeen, PhD student in the IPP-programme at the Institute for European Studies, is awarded the second position at this year's DAAD prize 2021. Each year the DAAD-Prize is awarded to an international (doctoral) student, who, in addition to recognisable academic achievements, has also shown remarkable social | intercultural commitment. The prize winner is selected by a committee of members of the four faculties and the International Office. Jinia Sharmeen's second position of the DAAD prize 2021 is honoured with a one-time grant of 700€.
