Weimar is the hometown of a large number of great poets and thinkers, above all the four stars of the Weimar Classicism (Wieland, Goethe, Herder and Schiller). In our project, we want to design and implement new interactive tools for the visual exploration of Goethe's opus and letters, Schiller's poems and dramas, Wieland's educational novels and Herder's theological treatises. Our focus is on the topics of the works, the core themes of the author's work and their development over time. The visualization and interaction techniques are to be optimized for large, high-resolution screens in order to be able to use them in public settings.
