It examines where people feel the boundaries of the heritage area lie, and which parts of the town they view positively or negatively. Using the method of mental mapping, the project visualizes people’s emotional connections to familiar places and their individual perception of urban space. These maps provide insights into how the cultural heritage of Weimar is understood and valued.
