We still have plenty of spots available for the class “Back to Ecosystems”, a course focused on art installations (audiovisual environments) and ecosystems.

In this course, we will adopt a broad understanding of ecosystems, engaging conceptually with the notion and its interactive elements. On the practical side, we’ll use digital tools—such as TouchDesigner—to design video installations and explore ideas of space and immersivity.

An ecosystem can be understood as a network of interacting living and non-living components within a defined space—whether a garden, an exhibition space, a bacterial cell, or, in a broader sense, an artwork. As Félix Guattari notes, the ecological registers encompass the environment, social relations, and human subjectivity.
