Bei der folgenden E-Mail handelt es sich eine typische Scam-Nachricht. Der Inhalt ist frei erfunden, auf die Mail sollte nicht reagiert werden, sie ist zu löschen.
Mails, die im Betreff mit [SPAM] gekennzeichnet wurden, wurde als solche klassifiziert, es besteht damit eine sehr hohe Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass es sich tatsächlich um Spam handelt. Dass der eigene Name und die eigene Mailadresse als Absender angezeigt wird, muss auch nicht beunruhigen. Hierbei handelt es sich um Mail-Spoofing. Unser Mailserver erkennt, dass der vorgegebene interne Absender, die Mail nicht versendet hat und stellt diese deshalb nicht direkt zu, sondern als Anhang der folgenden automatisch generierten Mail (nachträglich anonymisiert):

Gibt man den Betreff der Fake-Mail in einer Suchmaschine ein, erhält man sehr schnell Hinweise, dass es sich um einen bekannten Fake handelt.

Fälschungsmerkmale der Fake-Mail:

• Kennzeichnung als [SPAM]
• keine direkte Zustellung
• Die Verwendung einer E-Mail-Adresse als Absendername ist unüblich.
• Inhalt ist frei erfunden.
• Der angebliche Hacker behauptet Zugriff Dateien, Accounts und die Kamera gehabt zu haben, kann Sie aber nicht mal persönlich ansprechen? = abwegig.
• Besitzt Ihr System keine Kamera ist das geschilderte Prozedere schon mal technisch unmöglich.
• Der vermeintliche Sicherheitshinweis am Ende ist nicht mehr auf der Höhe der Zeit, Passwörter sollen nicht mehr anlasslos regelmäßig geändert werden.
