Shradha Chandan:
Being the Labyrinth
Embodied Experiences of Public Space – Weimar
How do you feel when you move through public space?
Where do you feel at ease, and where do you adjust your body, your pace, or your presence?
I am an urban researcher exploring how public spaces in Weimar are experienced, negotiated, and embodied by FLINTA* individuals supported by the Frauenförderfonds at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. This research focuses on everyday perceptions of safety, visibility, comfort, and belonging, especially from perspectives that are often underrepresented in urban planning and evaluation.
I am inviting participants to share their experiences through a short conversation, which can take place:
You may also bring a friend if that makes you feel more comfortable.
Your participation is voluntary, and you may remain anonymous.
The insights will contribute to an installation and potential publication on embodied approaches to public space evaluation.
