The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Granada, in collaboration with the Granada City Council and the Albaicín Agency, announces an international call for the creation of a site-specific exhibition project at the Casa de las Chirimías – Exhibition Innovation Lab. The exhibition will take place during the October–December 2025.

This call is open to contemporary artists, collectives, and/or curatorial teams (artist(s) + curator(s)) of any age, nationality, or discipline, who wish to research, intervene, and activate this unique space in the Albaicín district through projects that engage with its memory, architecture, urban context, and symbolic potential.

The selected artist or team will be provided with eight days of accommodation and workspace in Granada for the ideation, production, adaptation, and/or installation of their project, as well as a fixed grant of €1,500 for production costs. Additionally, a catalog of the exhibition will be published as part of the Casa de las Chirimías editorial line.
