Congratulations to Ihab Al-Rikabi!
The chair of building physics is proud to announce that PhD candidate Ihab Al-Rikabi has been awarded the prestigious DAAD prize for the year 2025 in recognition of his outstanding academic work and engagement in extracurricular activities.
The award was presented during a ceremony held on December 10, 2025 at the main campus building. During the ceremony, the president, Prof. Peter Benz handed the award to Mr. Al-Rikabi acknowledging his extraordinary academic achievement as well as social and intercultural engagement in the university.
Mr. Al-Rikabi's doctoral research at the chair of building physics focuses on preventing cross-contamination risks and achieving acceptable indoor air quality in office settings by developing innovative air cleaning devices.
The chair of building Physics extends its warmest congratulations and looks forward to the continued success of its researchers.
