Gitta Gschwendtner runs an independent design studio specialising in design for installations, exhibitions and furniture. Gitta is a designer who takes everyday objects and adds a touch of the unusual to provoke particular associations and memories in people. She came to London from Germany in 1992 to study at Central Saint Martins and then at Kingston University, followed by an MA in furniture design at the Royal College of Art.
