For the research- and theory-oriented international Masters programme "European Urban Studies (M.Sc.)" taught in English.

Deadline for applicants from the European Union including Switzerland 25th June 2019 (postal receiving date in Weimar). All others (deadline at Uni-Assist) 15th May 2019.

For the practice- and application-oriented programme Reflective Urban Practice" (M.Sc.) in the study course "Integrated Urban Development and Design" (IUDD) taught in English.

For the double degree programme „Advanced Urbanism" (M.Sc.) in the practice- and application-oriented master's course "Integrated Urban Development and Design" (IUDD) taught in English.

For the Masters programme "Urbanistik" (M.Sc.) taught in German.

For the international PhD-Programmes taught in English.

Please note that the application procedure for the international Master programme "European Urban Studies (M.Sc.)" has changed from 15. April 2015 on for students who are applying fom outside the European Union or Switzerland. Our webpages have been updated accordingly.

Please note:

First-year students without any German language knowledge who want to learn the language, can only take part in the intensive course "German as a Foreign Language". It is offered as a three-week course in September. Participation in the German semester courses beginning in October is only possible for students with at least basic knowledge.
