Studying in Weimar

The Bauhaus Universität Weimar and its city are compact and easy to orientate, even though the city is not too small. At the Bauhaus Universität Weimar, one can study far away from the hectic atmosphere in the big city. As it is a pedestrian-friendly city, everything can be reached quickly. Further, Weimar is well connected by train. Weimar-Berlin: approx. 3 h, Weimar-Munich: approx. 5 h, Weimar-Frankfurt/Main: ca. 2.5 h, Weimar-Hamburg: approx. 4 h.

The city offers a vast cultural landscape: Theatres, museums, art exhibitions, galleries and various student projects that bring life to the city. Studying in Weimar is more than following the academic career - just like Goethe and Schiller did, you will study art, culture and life.
