Als Abschluss der Einführungswoche am Institut für Europäische Urbanistik (IfEU) haben die neuen Masterstudierende des IfEUs (Urbanistik und European Urban Studies) sich gemeinsam auf eine Wanderung durch den Thüringer Wald aufgemacht. Dabei konnten sie die Region, ihre Menschen und die wunderschöne Natur Thüringens kennenlernen. Die Tour ging mit lokalen Naturguides 978m hoch auf den Schneekopf, den zweithöchsten Gipfel des Thüringer Waldes!

This year's orientation week closed with a hiking tour through the Thuringian Forest. The Thuringian Forest is known as a winter sports region and the green heart of Germany. Our new Master students at the Institute for European Urban Studies, both Urbanistik and European Urban Studies students, experienced the Thuringian region, its people and the beautiful biosphere of the forest through local nature guides. The tour went through the deepest valley in the area and to the top of mount Schneekopf (978m.s.l.), which is the Thuringian forest's second highest mountain!
