Inspired by the surrealist method – “Exquisite Corpse” – The Exquisite Collegium Jenense tries to explore a space where people are faced with a talkative building that seeks attention. The concept is an onsite interactive Installation with an open collaborative mobile platform where passers-by can react to the talking building. Buildings are silent witnesses of the constant change in urban spaces. We are so preoccupied in our daily schedules that we tend to be impervious to noticing and appreciating these changes in urban spaces. What if someone brought these changes to our notice? What if buildings started talking? How would humans react to such buildings? Would it affect our idea of interpersonal space? The basic purpose of this concept is to probe our perception of the surrounding architecture and the history related to it.
