The „Haus am Horn“ is the first sample house of the Bauhaus, built in 1923 for the Bauhaus Exhibition, an 8-weekly exhibition showcasing products and architectural concepts around the way of thinking and living. Developping a spatial, interactive concepts which focuses on the Bauhaus 100th anniversary in 2019 and which deals with exhibitions and/or light design is the essence of this project.
The concept of „(Re)Construct Innovations“ attempts to complete the house‘s interior by using augmented realty which can be accessed through tablets. Visitors can reflect the building within the past and perceive it in a total new way. This approach is complemented by a communicative campaign to locate the house in the city‘s context of Weimar and within the other Bauhaus sites in Germany.
