Radical Philosophy 220: Dossier: Fanon–Tosquelles
The latest issue of Radical Philosophy (220, Winter 2026) is devoted to the encounter between Frantz Fanon and Francesc Tosquelles, revisiting their collaboration at the psychiatric hospital of Saint-Alban-sur-Limagnole.
Alongside Elena Vogman’s essay, “Embodied Phantasm: Frantz Fanon, Francesc Tosquelles and Psychoanalysis by Other Means,” the dossier includes the first English translation (by Giovanni Menegalle) of Tosquelles’ “Frantz Fanon at Saint-Alban,” Lucie Kim-Chi Mercier’s “Saint-Alban’s Contested Legacy,” and an interview with Alice Cherki reflecting on “Fanon’s Social Therapy.”
