Florian Blösl ist seit Mai 2023 an der Fakultät Medien der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar externer Doktorand an der Professur für Innovationsmanagement und Medien (Prof. Dr. Reinhard Kunz) und arbeitet parallel als Teaching & Research Assistant im Department Business & Management am Management Center Innsbruck in Österreich. Seine primären Forschungsinteressen sind auf die verhaltensspezifischen Konsequenzen proaktiven Entscheidens gerichtet, insbesondere im Kontext unternehmerischer, finanzieller und medienspezifischer Verhaltensweisen. Diese untersucht er im Rahmen der Mitwirkung am von Prof. Dr. Johannes Siebert geleiteten Projekts „Antecedents and consequences of proactive decision-making“ am Management Center Innsbruck.
Vor seiner akademischen Tätigkeit absolvierte er eine Ausbildung zum Bankkaufmann (IHK), sammelte umfassende berufliche Erfahrungen in der Bankwirtschaft und schloss seine betriebswirtschaftlichen Studiengänge berufsbegleitend an der Steinbeis-Hochschule Berlin (BA) und am Management Center Innsbruck (MA) ab. Seine beruflichen Erfahrungen waren mitunter ein zentraler Motivationsfaktor für das Ergreifen seiner vertieften wissenschaftlichen Arbeit. Privat genießt er derzeit die Umgebung Innsbrucks, welche er zu Fuß, mit dem Mountainbike oder mit Skiern erkundet.
