We are proud to announce that our team from the Chair of Computer Science in Architecture and Urbanism at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar has received the Best Presentation Award – Special Collection Papers at the CAAD Futures 2025 Conference held at The University of Hong Kong.

The awarded presentation, titled "Floor Plan Affordance Prediction: Is the Floor Plan Layout Determined by its Outline or the Architect?", was authored by Martin Bielik, Milan Valasek, Luyang Zhang, Sven Schneider, and Reinhard König, and was presented by Dr. Martin Bielik. The project explores how the shape of a floor plan influences its functional interpretation and investigates the role of design intention in layout generation.
