"smood ... ready for take off!"
This was the motto of the smood closing event on December 7th, 2022 in the Zeiss Planetarium in Jena. Now the research project enters the implementation phase. The companies that participated in the project can now apply the developed methods in neighborhood planning.

The final Hot Topics in Computer Vision (HTCV) presentation by the project group on "Generating 3D Interior Design for Point Cloud Scene Understanding and Room Layout Analysis" will be held on November 17, 2022, at 11 am in the Schwanseestarße consultation room 2.40.

The defence by Martin Tippmann of his bachelor's degree thesis in Informatics (Mediensysteme) on the topic "Retrieval of 3D Point Cloud Submaps from 2D Query Images " will be held on October 25th, 2022, 1:15 pm.

Christian Benz is presenting his work on the "Image-based Detection of Structural Defects using Hierarchical Multi-Scale Attention" on September 29, 2022 at 2:30pm at the DAGM German Conference for Pattern Recognition in Konstanz, Germany.

David Tschirschwitz is presenting his work on "A Dataset for Analysing Complex Document Layouts in the Digital Humanities and its Evaluation with Krippendorff's Alpha" on September 29, 2022 at 2:30pm at the DAGM German Conference for Pattern Recognition in Konstanz, Germany.

The defence by Gissu Valentina Naghavi of her bachelor's degree thesis in Informatics (Medieninformatik) on the topic "Geometric calibration of RGB and thermal imaging cameras to generate a multispectral data set" will be held online on September 22nd, 2022, 3.00 pm.

Sven Daubert will present the joint work on "Correction of sensor noise of images from uncooled thermographic cameras in energetic building and neigborhood analysis" on September 21, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the BauSIM 2022 in Weimar.

The MDR reports in the Thuringia Journal about the climate laboratory experiment of Sven Daubert and Mara Geske in the context of the BauSIM conference at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
