Huy Khanh Ha will give a talk on "Real-Time Multi-View Markerless Motion Capture of Multiple Humans" on July 2, 2021 at 3:30 pm as part of his master's defense.

The results of the collaborative project MonumentDigital is presented in the workshop "Building assessment in social virtual reality" online with a live demonstration on collaborative data analysis and damage mapping.

Main-Post: As part of a load test on an ICE bridge, deformations in the millimeter range were measured using total stations and laser scanners. In parallel, the bridge was photogrammetrically acquired from the air using a drone. The work provides important data in the joint research project AISTEC.

Main-Post: To create a 3D model, the Maintal bridge near Gemünden was geometrically acquired both inside and out. This work is part of the preparations for a large-scale load test as part of the AISTEC joint research project.

A team of staff and alumni from Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, which also included Paul Debus and Jan-Frederick Eick, took part in SDaCathon 2021, spending a weekend developing a prototype to create simplified geometric building models from laser scanner data using machine learning methods and other computer vision techniques. For their efforts, the team iBIMS was awarded first place.
