Hightech in Weimar

The Thüringische Landeszeitung (TLZ) reports on the cooperation project between the Klassik-Stiftung Weimar and the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar to digitize the court uniform and travelling cloak attributed to Goethe using the 3D-RealityCapture-ScanLab.

Goethe's clothes in 3D

In a cooperation project between the Faculty of Media at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and the Klassik Stiftung Weimar, historical items of clothing are being digitized using the "3D-RealityCapture-ScanLab". In a complex process, 3D models are created that help to better understand Goethe's life and personality through his clothing.

Digital clothes

The Mitteldeutsche Rundfunk (MDR) reports in the Thuringia Journal on how the Klassik Stiftung Weimar is working with the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar to bring Goethe's clothes back to the public as a 3D model.

3D digitization of Goethe's clothing

The Klassik Stiftung Weimar reports on the photogrammetric 3D reconstruction of clothing attributed to Goethe using the 3D RealityCapture-ScanLab.

Bite the bytes

The taster day "BITE THE BYTES" of the computer science program at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar will take place again on February 2 and 6, 2024.
