Here we have compiled a list of further interesting services provided by the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and the city of Weimar which offer chances to get together with other parents and participate in various events.
An information event for student parents, or those intending to become parents, takes place each semester at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Collectively, Studierendenwerk Thüringen, the Student Office, the International Office and the Equal Opportunity Office provide information concerning the topic of studying with children. This is also an opportunity to get together with other parents at the university and share experiences.
The information events take place once per semester. The date of the next event is published on the homepage of the Equal Opportunity Office.
The Parent-Child-Network is an informal meet-up for student parents of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar who get together and share experiences and also plan trips together from time to time. Contact with the Parent-Child-Network is via the Equal Opportunity Office.
