The subject librarian for media and cultural studies, philosophy, psychology and sociology aids students, instructors and researchers in using library resources and offers specialized consultation in these areas. Responsibilities include:
- Collection development and management: ensuring that the above collections are current, comprehensive, and made accessible for research, both in print and digitally.
- Research support and information literacy: assisting users in their research and in finding relevant sources for research projects,
- Support for lectures: working with instructors to integrate library ressources into lectures and offer subject specific workshops,
- Special collections and exhibitions: making available the film studies special collection.
