Organised childcare can make it easier for some conference attendees to participate in conferences held at the Bauhaus University Weimar. The flexible childcare service »Bauhäuschen« offers appropriate childcare for the children of conference participants.
Information on childcare during conferences
- Care for children aged between twelve weeks and seven years by trained childminders
- Registration is possible up to 14 days before the start of the conference
- Registration forms will be provided and must be completed by parents and submitted at the latest by the start of childcare
- We are happy to provide more information about the costs; payment by invoice is possible
- Childcare is preferrably provided in the »Bauhäuschen« rooms at Amalienstraße 13, which are specially equipped for children, but it can also take place at the conference location
Information for conference organisation
Please contact the Equal Opportunity Office at the start of the conference organisation process so that planning can be tailored to requirements and timely notification can be provided when the conference is announced. A sample text for inclusion in the event programme, as well as banners, registration forms and important information, can be provided for the conference organisation.
»Mobile Bauhäuschen«
The »Mobile Bauhäuschen makes it possible to offer play and activity opportunities directly at the event location and to provide childcare by the »Bauhäuschen« team in the immediate vicinity of the event premises.
