In order to promote the compatibility of family, career and studies, the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar also offers the »Bauhäuschen« services to students and lecturers with children who are participating in face-to-face courses as part of part-time degree programmes.
Students enrolled in part-time degree programmes and PhD students in Art and Design can also use the service on Fridays until 8 p.m. during attendance phases. In this case, support can be provided for up to eight hours per day.
Advance registration is required for childcare. To enable timely planning, please register your childcare request up to 14 days before the desired childcare date. Places can be booked via the INFOtake and can be booked in blocks (one block corresponds to two hours). The INFOtake will check the availability of the childcare request and contact you in good time. The fee for a two-hour childcare block is €6.00 for students and €13.50 for employees.
