The day has arrived! THURSDAY, May 5, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Argentina/Chile) —- 7 p.m. to 11 (Europe): GRAND RADIO REANIMATION CEREMONY: from Radio Estación Wulaia.

Built between 1930 and 1931 (about 20 years after the founding of Puerto Williams), Radio Station Wulaia has witnessed the transformations in the southernmost tip of the planet.
@proyecto.terra.ignota has been activating this space for two weeks with artists and scientists, and this Thursday it will officially reopen to the public, broadcasting the ongoing research of those who participated in the first pilot art-science residency.
A large network of radio stations will accompany us with rebroadcasts to spread the word about the reopening (thank you!). We hope that soon you will be able to come and broadcast from here and add meaning to this Accretion Zone.

Wetlands ist das Ergebnis einer Exkursion, die im Januar im Rahmen eines Austauschprojekts zwischen der Nationalen und Kapodistrianischen Universität Athen, der Aalto-Universität und der Bauhaus-Universität durchgeführt wurde. Studierende mit wissenschaftlichem und künstlerischem Hintergrund kamen zusammen, um die Wetlands aus einem interdisziplinären Blickwinkel zu betrachten und Projekte zu entwickeln, um das Ökosystem zu interpretieren und ein tieferes Verständnis zu erlangen.

  Dina liebt Science Fiction Hörspiele aus den 1970er Jahren. Ihre Lebensrealität auf dem Mars sieht jedoch ganz anders aus: Die Besiedlung ist gescheitert, Toilette 5 ist kaputt und die Marsianer*innen vertreiben sich ihre Zeit mit Schachtraining, Pflanzenzucht, Expeditionen, Alkohol und Hörspielen. Obwohl die Crew bereits vor vielen Jahren den Kontakt zur Erde verloren hat, schickt Dina regelmäßig Funksprüche an ihre Freundin Camille. Als sie bei einem Außeneinsatz in ihrem Raumanzug schließlich zur Protagonistin ihres eigenen Science Fiction Hörspiels wird, geht ihre Freundin Camille zum ersten Mal seit 10 Jahren wieder ans Telefon.

  Original sonic threads interwoven with Archival Ethnological Recordings by German Anthropologists, Ernst Dammann together with his wife and partner Ruth Dammannn during their travels to then, South West Africa. The mix also features Phonograph 55 Cylinder, recordings by German Artist Hans Lichtenecker (1891 – 1988), recorded on Lichtenecker farm in Namibia. An Ethnological Experimental mix for Radio.

A rambling of anger and a cry for compassion, a plea for thinking and a calling for feeling – a crew without a mission, diving into metafictional footnotes, and a fight against academic elitism. “ Confessions of an Autistic ADOX-Drinker“ is not a testament to academic profoundness, it is simple thoughts to complex problems sprinkled with dark humour
