A personal reference collection contains literature for the use by a professor or department on site.
The owner of a personal reference collection is that professor or that department's head.
A personal reference collection should not contain more than 100 items.
Acquisition of personal reference collection items is financed from the university budget or the chair's/department's third party funding.
Items in personal reference collections that were financed from the university budget or from third party funding raised as part of your university activities remain the property of the state of Thuringia. When the professor/department head leaves the university they must be integrated into the library collection.
