The passage between the main and Limona buildings will be closed from Mar 16th to Mar 19th.
We're about to finish renovations that started last year. To keep service disruptions to a minimum, we waited until the period between terms to set a date.
How can I get into the Limona building?
We'll be opening the Schützengasse entrance.
What do I need to know about visiting the Limona building?
Like the main building, the Limona building will be open from 9 am to 11 pm, and as always library staff will be at the info desk during our service hours from 9 am to 6 pm. From 6 pm to 11 pm you'll find security staff at the desk.
Can I still borrow Limona books?
Of course - we'll be happy to check those out for you at the info desk. However, since there are no self-service terminals in the Limona building, you will not be able to borrow books after 6 pm. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Should I return Limona books right there?
The self-service machines in the main building will remain available. Please return books only there - it helps us keep our internal routines.
Is the Limona building wheelchair accessible?
We regret to say it's not. We'll be happy to provide assistance from the service desk in the main building from 9 am til 6 pm. Unfortunately we're unable to assist after 6 pm, and especially apologize for the further inconvenience.
