Project: Interdisciplinary project on Urban Infrastructure Systems & German-Russian workshop "Urban Infrastructure"

Course content:

The project consists of a seminar during the semester and a German-Russian workshop. In the seminar, lecturers and students of the faculties civil engineering and architecture and urbanism will give a lecture on urban-planning and infrastructural topics; a preliminary report (seminar report) will bring it to a close.
Following the seminar, the German-Russian workshop “Urban Infrastructure” will take place in cooperation with the MGSU Moscow. Students from both universities will discuss current questions on urban infrastructure systems in interdisciplinary teams and present their results. The project closes with a final report.

Note:

The project is part of the strategic partnership of Bauhaus-Universität Weimar with MGSU (Moscow). Besides the Chair Transport System Planning of the faculty civil engineering, the Chair Urban Planning of the faculty architecture and urbanism makes significant contributions to the project.
