With a good research strategy for the www as well as for library catalogues (OPAC, GBV, KVK) and databases, you wont get lost in the data jungle and you will never have to say the sentence I did not find any literature anymore. In order to allow you free and quick access to the literature which is relevant for your studies, the University Library offers a variety of electronic information resources like Art Bibliographies Modern (ABM), Art Index, Bibliography of the History of Art, Design and Applied Arts Index (DAAI), JSTOR, ARTstor and the EZB (e-journal library). The aim of the training is to get you to know all these information resources and to make sure that you can use them efficiently for your studies.
Scientific information literacy PhD Fine Arts and PhD Art and Design
This training workshop is specially arranged for PhD students of the subjects Fine Arts and Art and Design. Basic knowledge about how to select, evaluate and manage specialized information in your study field is taught and practiced. You will get an overview of the most important information resources and research strategies.
