History
The history of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar goes back to the 19th century. Today it continues to build on Walter Gropius pioneering philosophy which inspired him to found the State Bauhaus in Weimar in 1919. We invite you to learn more about the eventful history of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
