The University Strategic Development Office (UE) is a central university facility that provides support for a broad range of projects and issues in the strategic and planning division at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and its organisations: the University Council, the Presidium, the individual faculties, the central university facilities, and the member groups.
The Office is responsible for organising and supervising structural and strategic agreements between the university and the Ministry and between the Presidium and the faculties, as well as for academic management, implementing university-wide surveys, the university’s institutional quality development, as well as initiating and supervising teaching and learning development projects.
The UE is the driving force behind development projects and works together with numerous local and national funding bodies, as well as with other institutions in Germany and abroad.
