The University Strategic Development Office is involved in and supports the Presidium’s strategic planning, in particular as it relates to the university’s objectives and performance agreements with the Ministry, and the Presidium’s agreements with the faculties. The Office is also involved with establishing the guidelines for organisational and developmental planning, as well as the allocation of resources.
The University Strategic Development Office works with the Presidium, the faculties, the central university facilities, teaching staff, and students to conceive, coordinate and support studying, learning and knowledge transfer development projects. The appropriate tools have been developed for the coordination and supervision of these projects. Funding has also been made available for small to university- and cross-university collaborative projects. The University Strategic Development Office makes the knowledge and tools available those who are interested and offers support in applying for and implementing projects.
Im Netzwerk aus acht Universitäten ist mit dem »SDG-Campus« eine Online-Plattform mit interdisziplinären Selbstlernkursen im Themenfeld der 17 Nachhaltigkeitsziele entstanden. Laufzeit bis 2025.
Die AG wurde von Präsidium und Fakultätsleitungen initiiert, um in einem partizipativen Prozess die Lehrstrategie weiterzuentwickeln, Studien- und Prüfungsstrukturen fakultätsintern wie -übergreifend zu optimieren und studienbezogene Kommunikationsprozesse wirksamer zu vernetzen.

Verbundprojekt unter der Leitung der School of Advanced Professional Studies in Zusammenarbeit mit der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar und der Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg. Das Projekt wurde gefördert im BMBF-Programm »Digitale Medien in der Beruflichen Bildung«. Laufzeit: März 2017 bis Juli 2018
Das »Mitmach-Ding« ist ein multifunktionales, mobiles Setting, mit dem Lehr- und Lernprojekte in Kooperation mit der Zivilgesellschaft und an Lernorten außerhalb des Campus umgesetzt werden können. Laufzeit bis 2024.
