The Robert Koch Institute has updated the rules for vaccination and convalescent status. The validity of the status is relevant for 3G or 2G access rules.
According to this, anyone who has received at least two vaccinations and the second vaccination was at least 14 days ago is now considered fully vaccinated. For people who have received a vaccination with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine (originally only one dose needed), this means that a second vaccination is necessary to be considered fully vaccinated.
People are considered to have recovered if they have tested positive (confirmed with a PCR test) for the coronavirus. The official recovered status exists from the 28th day until the 90th day from the date the positive test was taken. The duration of the status has thus been reduced to a total of only three months after infection.
Further information on regulations for vaccinated and recovered persons is available at infektionsschutz.de (in German).
