Themed »Studies of the Future«, the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar has participated at the »Long Night of the Sciences« on 18.11.2022, an opportunity to provide the public in Weimar with insights into the world of arts and research projectsof doctoral candidates and postdocs.
For the Long Night of the Sciences in 2024, an exhibition of scholarship holders is being prepared, in which doctoral candidates and postdocs from all faculties who have also received a scholarship can participate.
9 doctoral candidates from Bauhaus-Universität Weimar gave insights into their everyday research and reported on moments »behind the scenes«. The project »Insight Into Research« was realised as a video exhibition in collaboration with Viola Ahrensfeld and Michael Braun from the doctoral students' representation of the Faculty of Art and Design and Steven Mehlhorn (Instructional Design).

For the first time, an exhibition especially focussed on the doctorate at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. The Ph.D. exhibition »[dis]solving boundaries« has been organized by doctoral candidates as well as Post-Docs from various disciplines in collaboration with the Bauhaus Research School, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Ph.D. programme Art and Design/Fine Art/Media Art and the Bauhaus Research School. The exhibition has provided a diversified insight into the variety of doctoral projects in all disciplines at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
