Students in the ERASMUS programme are entitled to apply for special funding in the following cases:
The special funding is paid per person and per mobility in addition to the ERASMUS scholarship. More information can be found here.
Bauhaus students who have been selected for a KA171 scholarship in the ERASMUS program are eligible to apply for additional funding for one of the following "Social Top-Ups":
The payment is made per person and per mobility in addition to the ERASMUS grant.
The eligibility criteria for the "Social Top-Ups" are the same as in the regular ERASMUS program KA 131.
Please follow this link to get to the eligibility criteria for the additional funding.
The funding rates and funding criteria in the ERASMUS programme are set by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The maximum possible funding period and funding amount is determined by the amount approved by the DAAD in the so-called "Grant Agreement". The scholarship amount for the students is determined on the basis of their information on the duration of their stay in the "Application for ERASMUS Scholarship" and the available budget. Against this background, it is possible that the financial ERASMUS funding period is shorter than the duration of the student's stay. The students will be informed about the exact amount of the grant when the "Grant Agreements" are sent out.
Should you fail to submit the required documents in full, you will have to repay part or all of your ERASMUS grant.
