Your Journey Abroad – From the First Idea to Departure!
Would you like to study or do an internship abroad? Or have you already secured an exchange place and want to know what comes next? The International Office will guide you through your journey abroad in two information sessions.
In the first session, you'll learn about your options, the application process and funding opportunities. The second session focuses on organising your study abroad experience and the important documents you'll need before, during and after your stay.

In collaboration with the contact persons at the faculties and the Language Centre at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, the International Office organises an annual central information session on opportunities for studying or undertaking an internship abroad.
Target audience:
Students at Bauhaus University Weimar who are interested in studying or undertaking an internship abroad in the winter semester 2027/28 or the summer semester 2028.
Content:
During these sessions, you will receive initial information on the process of studying or undertaking an internship abroad, the application procedure and funding options.
| Next date for the online information session: Wednesday, 28 October 2026 (2.00–4.00 pm; presentation in German, slides in English) The online event, entitled “Online Information Session on Studying and Internships Abroad”, will take place on Moodle (no access code required). The room will be accessible from 1.45 pm. |

Information on the documents to be submitted before, during and after studying abroad for all exchange categories.
