Three research papers presented at the 30th ICCCBE conference in Montreal
At the 30th International Conference on Computing in Civil and Building Engineering (ICCCBE) in Montreal, Canada, which took place from 25 to 28 August 2024 at the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS), three research papers were presented by the chair Intelligent Technical Design. The conference provides a platform for interdisciplinary exchange on innovative approaches in the construction industry. Fulya Tasliarmut and Paul-Christian Schuler
took part in the conference on site, Mahsa Mirboland was available via video call for questions from the expert audience.
Research project openSIM
As part of the openSIM project, two research contributions were presented that deal with the integration of diagnostic data from building monitoring into OpenBIM data models:
- „Using Linked Data Containers for BIM-based structural inspection workflows“(Referenz), presented by Paul-Christian Schuler in collaboration with Chris Voigt (MKP GmbH Weimar).
- „Integrating inspection data from non-destructive tests on in-service infrastructure into OpenBIM data models“(Referenz), presented by Mahsa Mirboland and Paul-Christian Schuler, with co-author Mathias Artus.
Research project AuCity
Fulya Tasliarmut presented the paper „A Framework for Adaptive Learning and Teaching in Higher Education in Engineering“(Referenz) together with Mahsa Mirboland. The paper proposes an innovative approach to personalized and adaptive learning in engineering.
