With the launch of the research project “Handcraft of the Future: Data-Based Planning and Human-Robot Interaction in Existing Buildings,” the Chair of Intelligent Technical Design welcomes Essam Fadel as a new research associate. Together with an interdisciplinary team from the Bauhaus University Weimar and MFPA Weimar, he will investigate how data-driven methods and robotics can support craftsmen in existing buildings and contribute to a more practical construction method.
