The Bauhaus Research School was established in 2007 as an umbrella institution for all structured doctoral programmes. Since then we have become the point of contact for all doctoral candidates of the university.
For the past 10 years we have been supporting scientific and artisitc researchers of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and look forward to celebrate this jubilee with you in the upcoming months.
In a variety of different events we will offer a platform for academic exchange and the development of creative ideas for future support of junior researchers at the university. After the Open Door Day in November 2017 there will be an event series in July 2018 under the headline »[dis]solving boundaries« including a Ph.D. exhibition, a Research Walk, the international »Young Bauhaus Research Graduate Conferenc 2018«, as well as a Science Slam.

OPEN DOOR DAY | 8. November 2017
On 8 November 2017 we kicked-off our 10 Years Jubilee celebrations with an »Open Door Day«! We opened the doors to our BRS offices and invited all our doctoral candidates and postdocs to join us over Coffee & More and to share their ideas and desires for a successful doctorate.
Later, over Snacks & Talks we invited newly appointed professors and guest researchers to connect with us and see how the BRS can support them in future concepts and ideas.
