Laboratories and testing facilities

Using unique optical schlieren techniques, indoor airflows are visualized based on density gradients in the air and subsequently analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively.

With the room acoustics demonstrator, room acoustics can be explained and experienced. In the impedance tube, the airborne sound absorption of experimental materials is measured, and the acoustic camera makes sound sources visible.

The Vertical Climate Clarification System, or VertiKKA for short, is a wall-mounted green façade combined with photovoltaics that can treat greywater. Long-term measurements on building physics and wastewater analysis are carried out on it.
