The anemometer measures horizontal wind speed. For winter operation, the device is equipped with an electronically controlled heater to prevent the ball bearings and outer rotating parts from freezing.
Build up
The FVA615-2 is mounted on a mast tube and is fastened via a PG21 threaded connection using a steel screw. Since the measuring device is installed on a flat roof, it was positioned approximately in the center of the roof. Care was also taken to ensure that it is not located in the wind shadow of other objects.
