Up-to-date information for students in the winter semester 2020/21

In contrast to the previous summer semester, part of the teaching in the winter semester will be in attendance. The supervision of the first semester students in the Bachelor and Master programs in Architecture and Urban Studies as well as in the Master MediaArchitecture is carried out in presence during the semester project. If necessary, studio workplaces will be used in a sharing model in order to comply with the hygiene and distance rules. This enables all newcomers to get to know fellow students as well as teachers and their study location. In the international master's programs Integrated Urban Development and Design and European Urban Studies, the main courses are designed as classroom courses. Other courses will take place mainly in digital form.

The winter semester 2020/21 starts on October 01, 2020. On that date the course catalog will also be available online.

The introductory course in the bachelor's programs in architecture and urban studies will begin in attendance on October 26. Also on October 26, an information session with project presentation will take place. This will run digitally in BigBlueButton so that those who cannot be present can also take part.

The lecture period begins on November 02, 2020.

Final presentations and exams are scheduled to take place between February 08 and 26, 2021.

Office hours are usually held by telephone, e-mail or online in BigBlueButton. In some cases, however, individual appointments can be arranged.

Further information on the possible course of studies and the associated dates/deadlines can be found on the website of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism in the section Study Organization, which is constantly updated.

Stay healthy and protect yourself and others.
