»A Guide for Students« New Website to Support Students with University and Personal Challenges
Designed by the Quality and Degree Programme Development work group, the website aims to provide students with clear guidance and support in overcoming challenges they may face in their studies. The website offers a range of services and information from academic advising and psychological counselling to options for submitting feedback and complaints.
<link>»A Guide for Students« is an important addition to the existing support services at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. By providing easily accessible information and resources, the goal is that students are given the best possible opportunity to successfully complete their studies.
Two New Complaint Centres for Students
In addition to a list of advising services, the website also provides students information on complaints procedures. Two new complaints centres have been established at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar for submitting complaints and feedback: a »Student and Academic Affairs Complaints Centre« and a »University Complaints Office for Discrimination Cases«. Students can contact these centres and seek help. The complaint centres can also help with initiating formal complaints if necessary.
Improvement Through Feedback
The website is updated regularly so that students are always up to date. »We encourage all students to make use of the new website and give us their feedback so that we can continually improve the site and adapt it to the needs of our university community«, says Quality and Degree Programme Development work group member Michèle Eike.
