Project description

As part of Summaery the Virtual Reality and Visualization Research chair gives practical insights into the results of research and teaching over the past semesters. The group investigates various topics regarding Multi-User Interaction in Social Virtual Reality, Information Visualization and Real-Time Rendering.

At the Open Lab Night, students and group members invite you to get a shared sense of several semester and research projects. Practical results from the student projects “VR CreatIVE”, “Music Performances in VR” and “Non-Photorealistic Rendering for Virtual Reality Applications” will be showcased. Related applications can be playfully explored together using state-of-the-art head-mounted displays (Oculus Quest 2), as well as well as desktop computers.

Moreover, current progress in research and teaching at the chair will be presented. This specifically includes ongoing Bachelor’s and Master’s theses.
